GCSE Sciences
Over 25 years of teaching at this level and above enables me to ensure that students have a thorough grounding in the fundamentals of science needed.

All components of Core, Additional and Further Sciences are catered for.

In Year 10 biology, chemistry and physics contribute equally to the students CORE science grade.

In Year 11 all 3 subjects are studied to a higher level of complexity in order to achieve either:
1] An Additional Science grade (leading to Double Science grades)
2] Additional and Further units to enable students to obtain separate grades in each science discipline.

AS Biology
Over 25 years experience teaching at this level allows me to encourage students to gain in-depth and insightful coverage of topics in all newly introduced specifications.

I can ensure that students understand the inter-relationships between topics such as cells, biochemistry, digestion, disease, heart and lungs and immunology etc in order to be able to access the best possible grades.

A2 Biology
Over 25 years experience teaching at this level allows me to encourage students to gain in-depth and insightful coverage of topics in all specifications.

Central to my efforts will be the study of complex concepts including biochemistry, genetics, homeostasis, and evolution alongside the development of the students’ abilities to analyse and make links between them. These are fundamental for success and entry to the best universities.
