I'm a current teacher working in a leading Bedfordshire school.
I dedicate 3 days a week to private tuition.

Because I'm a current teacher I live and breathe the current curriculum. I know specificially the information a student needs to learn in order to be sucessful in his or her exams.

I have been teaching since 1981. Began in the post 16 sector teaching 'A' Level & GCSE Science, Biology and Chemistry alongside vocational courses for animal technicians & trainee nurses etc.

Moved to the Upper School sector in Bedfordshire after giving birth to 1st child. Continued teaching 'A' Level Biology and Chemistry as well as KS3 and GCSE sciences including Double Science and separate biology and chemistry.

Promoted to managerial position as head of biology to contribute to updating the delivery of science across the school. Am now maintaining up to date knowledge of changes to the specifications at all levels of the public examination system while teaching 3 days a week in school. Private tuition of Biology and Chemistry at both 'A' and GCSE has been part of my portfolio for the past 2 years.

Personal Qualities:

Considerable experience of teaching at all levels; experienced in analysis of the problems students encounter; up to date knowledge of changes to the specifications at all levels of the examination system [KS3, GCSE, 'A' Level]; a core of clients developed by personal recommendation.
